Five New Horror Films Hit Screens This Week as November Turns Into a Fear Factory

The week of November 10–16 has turned into one of the busiest horror release windows of the year, delivering a mix of theatrical premieres and VOD drops that promise something for every type of genre fan. Five new horror titles are arriving across platforms, marking one of November’s strongest lineups.

The biggest theatrical release is Keeper, landing in cinemas on November 14. Directed by Osgood Perkins, the filmmaker behind Longlegs and The Blackcoat’s Daughter, this new psychological nightmare returns him to the realm of quiet, suffocating dread. The film stars Tatiana Maslany and Rossif Sutherland, and early impressions describe it as a tense, isolated descent into paranoia. Perkins reunites with Neon, continuing their streak of sharply crafted, prestige-leaning horror.

Sharing the date is The Carpenter’s Son, another theatrical title arriving November 14. This one leans into supernatural tension, following a story steeped in spiritual warfare, religious unease and escalating terror. The film positions itself as a more traditional horror experience for viewers craving exorcism-style intensity.

VOD releases this week add even more flavor. Frenzy Moon, a werewolf-centered thriller, arrives on November 11 and appears poised to appeal to fans of creature features. On the same day, streaming audiences get Queens of the Dead, a boldly stylized zombie film that blends undead carnage with drag-performance energy. Also releasing on November 11 is a final digital title rounding out the five-film slate, giving home viewers plenty of fresh scares without a trip to the theater.

This release week showcases how varied and alive the horror landscape is right now. Fans can choose between psychological terror, creature thrills, supernatural battles, and wild genre mashups. As the year nears its end, November is shaping up to be one of 2025’s strongest months for horror discovery.

Whether you are sinking into a cinema seat for tightened-chest suspense or firing up something chaotic on VOD at midnight, this week has a scare with your name on it.
