First Trailer for Faces of Death Reboot Unleashes Gruesome Mayhem, Cast Revealed

A brutal new chapter in cult horror is coming to theaters this spring. The first official trailer for the Faces of Death reboot has debuted online, serving up a chilling first look at one of 2026’s most talked-about horror projects. According to recent reporting, the film is set for a 10 April 2026 theatrical release and boasts a compelling ensemble cast that blends genre favorites with rising stars.

The trailer delivers a barrage of unsettling imagery and increasingly grisly set pieces that nod to the original Faces of Death’s controversial legacy while updating it for modern audiences. At the center of the reboot is Dacre Montgomery (Stranger Things), alongside Barbie Ferreira (Euphoria), both of whom appear to be deeply entangled in an escalating cycle of terror and grotesque spectacle.

Supporting performances include horror stalwarts like Sarah Voigt (Terrifier 2), Tadasay Young (Five Nights at Freddy’s), and Jermaine Fowler (The Blackening), expanding the film’s appeal across both cult horror and mainstream genre fanbases. Also joining the ensemble are Josie Totah (Spider-Man: Homecoming), Aaron Holliday (Cocaine Bear), and Charli XCX, whose presence adds unexpected flair to the project’s stylized nightmare tone.

The teaser hints at elaborate “ways to die” that echo the fatalistic creativity of franchises like Final Destination and The Monkey, suggesting the film will lean heavily into inventive, high-impact set pieces alongside its macabre thrills. Though details on the plot remain scarce, the trailer has already sparked discussion online among horror fans eager for its mix of shock value and cast power.

With a scheduled April 10, 2026 release date, Faces of Death aims to offer genre audiences a visceral and unflinching experience that balances homage to its cult roots with contemporary horror filmmaking sensibilities.
