No One Is Coming Keeps Its Story Secret
A24 has announced No One Is Coming as a new Anglo-Irish horror film directed by Ronan Corrigan. Plot and character details are currently being kept under wraps, so there is no official indication yet of what kind of horror story Corrigan is preparing.
Corrigan is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Hope Elliott Kemp, who previously collaborated with him on LifeHack. Film4 developed and co-financed the project, with additional financing from Screen Ireland. Plan B is producing alongside Wild Atlantic.
The Cast Includes Louis McCartney and Jessica Reynolds
The film stars Louis McCartney, Jessica Reynolds, Sky Yang, and Gabriel Nagy. McCartney is known for originating the role of Henry Creel in the West End and Broadway productions of Stranger Things: The First Shadow, while Reynolds previously worked with Corrigan on LifeHack.
Yang’s credits include Whistle, Last Days, and Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon films. Nagy recently appeared in Molly Manner’s Sundance film Extra Geography.
Corrigan Follows LifeHack With Horror
No One Is Coming represents Corrigan’s next feature after LifeHack, his screenlife action thriller that premiered at SXSW. The film also earned nominations at the British Independent Film Awards for Breakthrough Producer and Best Editing.
The new movie reunites Corrigan with Kemp, but beyond that creative connection, A24 has not revealed how No One Is Coming will differ from LifeHack or what kind of horror territory the filmmaker plans to explore.
