Cast and Crew

Marcus Mallard and Logan Walcher direct from a screenplay by Chris Hoyt (The Adventures of Jurassic Pet, Dinosaur World, The 7 Dwarves). Christy Tate, known for Lifetime’s Murder and Mayhem at Mardi Gras, plays Amelia/The Witch. Griffin Edge takes on Hansel, and Alexia Berry plays Gretel.
The ensemble rounds out with Aubree Payne as Madison, Nehemiah Auzer as Jacob, Madison Sein as Taylor, Tate Skelton as Michael, Amanda Stump as Jacob’s mom, and Caroline Kelly as Allison Cooper.

Mallard and Walcher also produce alongside Leah Heitzke-Mallard and Chris Hoyt. Walcher handles cinematography and editing, Heitzke-Mallard leads production design, and Bitter Machine scores the film.
A Fully In-House Project
Devilworks developed Hansel & Gretel’s Halloween internally and financed it in full, then brought in Mallard’s Mouldy Rogue Productions and Walcher’s Proxima Bear Production to direct and produce. Executive producer Matteo Rolleri called it a familiar story with a wicked twist, promising something bolder and more fun than audiences expect.
“Clever, bolder, and a lot more fun than you’d expect.” — Matteo Rolleri, Executive Producer
Co-executive producer Samantha Richardson said the goal was blending classic storytelling with a distinct visual and tonal identity.

Director Marcus Mallard credited Devilworks for backing the creative vision, letting the pair lean hard into the film’s horror aesthetics without pulling punches.
“Devilworks always had our backs on creative decisions.” — Marcus Mallard, Director/Producer
Co-director Logan Walcher described the mission as making the legend authentically scary, pointing to Christy Tate’s turn as The Witch as a standout and comparing the film’s energy to Goosebumps dialed up several notches.
“It’s like Goosebumps cranked up to 11… a movie your parents don’t want you to watch.” — Logan Walcher, Director/Producer.
