Behind a seemingly ordinary front door lurks a terrifying secret – welcome to “The House on Lidderman Street”, the new supernatural thriller from Sladdinc Media and writer/director Andrew David Barker premiering at Romford Horror Festival on 22nd February 2026.
For Pete Arrow life is going nowhere until the renovation of a seemingly ordinary house offers him the chance to turn things around. But it’s an opportunity that comes at a cost. M Because this is Lidderman Street where people talk in hushed tones about that house and what lies within. Something mysterious. Something evil.
Adapted by Barker from his own short story, “Lidderman Street” is reminiscent of classic chillers from the 1970s, focusing on the horrors of the mind and the darker side of human nature. Leading the cast in his feature debut is Jason Adam as Pete. FrightFest favourites Lyndsey Craine (“Book of Monsters”, “How to Kill Monsters”) and Johnny Vivash (“Cara”) play Pete’s girlfriend Lucy and boss Ant Valendar, with Phil Molloy, Laura Rollins, Ross Berkeley Simpson and Sarah Jane Rose rounding out the cast.
Produced by Jeremy Sladdin “The House on Lidderman Street” is the first feature from his. Leeds based mini-studio Sladdinc Media. Following it’s world premiere at Romford Horror Festival “Lidderman Street” will then continue its festival run, leading up to a limited roadshow in selected UK independent cinemas later this year. Details for streaming and other media releases have yet to be finalised.
