Kathryn Newton and Nick Jonas are set to star in the upcoming holiday horror film White Elephant, which is currently in production.
The film is directed by Eli Craig (Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, Clown in a Cornfield), who co-wrote the screenplay with JT Billings. The project is produced by Radio Silence (Ready or Not, Scream) as part of a collaboration with MRC and Project X.
According to the official logline, the story follows eight friends taking part in an annual holiday gift exchange that spirals into a deadly game: “Eight friends. One prize. Zero trust.”
Newton, who recently appeared in Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, continues her run in genre films, while Jonas expands his acting work with this horror project.
With production underway, further details including additional casting and release plans are expected to be announced in the coming months.
