Peacock confirmed that Curry Barker’s breakout horror hit will start streaming on July 17, 2026. That’s a surprisingly fast turnaround. The film still plays in theaters and pulls in millions every week. It also lands on Digital right now, with a physical release arriving the same day as the Peacock debut.
Here’s the setup- a hopeless romantic breaks the mysterious One Wish Willow to win his crush’s heart. He gets exactly what he wished for, at a very dark price. Inde Navarrette (Superman & Lois) and Michael Johnston (Teen Wolf) star. Barker shot the film on a $750,000 budget. Focus Features then acquired it for a reported $15 million. It has since become the highest-grossing horror film of 2026 and the most profitable release in Focus Features history.
Barker isn’t slowing down either. He has a new Texas Chainsaw Massacre film in the works. He’s also directing an original horror movie for Universal and Blumhouse. His horror-comedy Anything But Ghosts is coming soon too.
