A new indie slasher is preparing to make its debut as the first trailer for The Slasher Nurse has been released online. The film stars genre favorites Diana Prince (The Last Drive-In), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Beverly Randolph (The Return of the Living Dead), and Brian Bremer (Pumpkinhead).
Directed and written by David Kerr (Bloody Summer Camp), the film centers on a deadly revenge story that unfolds decades after a prank goes terribly wrong. According to the official synopsis, one person ends up dead and another is institutionalized following the incident. Twenty years later, a group of friends gathers at a remote cabin, unaware that a disturbed patient has escaped and is seeking revenge.
The project embraces classic slasher elements, including isolated settings, lingering trauma from past events, and a masked killer stalking unsuspecting victims. The presence of well-known cult horror actors has already generated interest among genre fans who appreciate throwback slasher storytelling.
The Slasher Nurse will premiere on the streaming platform The B Stream beginning March 27, 2026, with a wider digital release planned for July 2026. The film’s trailer marks the start of its promotional rollout as the indie horror community continues to embrace retro-style slasher films.
